The last few months at Church Plant Media have been exciting indeed. We’ve been releasing new features in our Content Management System and mapping out plans for the rest of 2012. One of those features is our Password Protection for pages. My own pastors were so stoked about it that they immediately published our church’s Member Directory online with a password protected page. In addition to the new features, we also recently launched one of our biggest projects ever: LOOK... Up in the sky... It’s a bird... It’s a plane... No... it’s the Church Planting Supersite!

With all kidding aside, it is our sincere prayer that the Church Planting Supersite will be a great service to anyone involved in planting a church. We’ve invested tons of hours into what we believe will be the ultimate gateway to all things church planting. The Supersite is a joint effort between our team and Tellstart, a telephone canvassing service for new church plants and re-launch campaigns. Our mission statement for the Supersite is very simple:

We seek to assist with the multiplication of Christ-centered churches by providing a one-stop portal that will showcase the very best services, products, and ministries related to church planting.

Tellstart and Church Plant Media have over 50 years of combined experience serving church planters. We wanted to take that experience and give back to the church planting community. Often the process of planting a church can be exhausting just getting started finding the right resources. So we decided to pull all of the resources we could think of together into one spot. Right now we have over 70 categories of different ministries and services that help planters. As time goes by, we’ll continue to add even more categories and more listings.

In addition to our “super” list of church planting services, we’ve also set up two forums. One for Free Stuff and another for a Garage Sale. The Free Stuff area is intended to help facilitate giving and receiving between church planters. We are reminded in Proverbs 19:17, “He who is gracious to a poor man lends to the Lord, And He will repay him for his good deed.” But we realize it might not be possible for things to always be free, so we’ve setup a Garage Sale. Our Garage Sale area is an opportunity to recover some of the investment you’ve made in equipment that you’d rather not give away.

Doug Foltz, of the Stadia Network says the following about the Church Planting Supersite: “This site has potential and is worth checking out just for the directory listing. It will be interesting to see how this site grows and how the church planting community embraces it. Check it out.” We agree with Doug that the site has some “super” potential.
